BIA announces 450 million NOK in funding

The funding announcement is targeted at innovation projects in the industrial sector based on companies' own strategies and challenges.

BIA (User-driven Research based Innovation) supports companies to make use of green innovation in order to meet increasing demands for more sustainable products and solutions. The programme particularly encourages applications in the field of the circular economy and those that aim at creating disruptive innovation through enabling technologies.

The application deadline for submitting a proposal for an Innovation Project for the Industrial Sector is 11 October 2017 1.00 PM.

The announcement is a part of the call on 1.1 billion that the Norwegian Research Council will allocate to innovation project in the industrial sector for 2017.

How about submitting a project outline? A project outline allows you to get advice and guidance from the Research Council before submitting the actual proposal for an Innovation Project for the Industrial Sector. Submitting a project outline is voluntary. You can find the project outline here.

Our project workshops provide you both with the theoretical and practical basis for a sound research project. You will gain useful knowledge that you can apply when developing and implementing your project as well as in your daily work life.

In some of our courses participants will be able to work with project outlines submitted in advance.
