Fluens Synthesis AS
The company Fluens Synthesis was established in 2005 for commercial exploitation of an invention by Professor Hans-René Bjørsvik og dr. Lucia Liguori. The company was established togehter with BTO, Unifob and the inventors.
The invention is a continous flow reactor for organic synthesis. The function of the reactor is to perform organic synthesis in a continous process, in contrast to traditional organic synthesis performed in batch reactors. The invention is a patented technology.
The buisniss idea of Fluens Synthesis is to develop, design and to carry out continous flow reactor systems which operates in mili-scale. These systemes will be used both in organic process research and development and for production of pharmaceutical and organic fine chemicals. Fluens Synthesis AS targets customers in the pharmaceutical industry and the organic fine chemical industry.
