Thursday, March 4th, 2010HammerTech AS ble etablert desember 2009 av professor Erling Hammer, Institutt for fysikk og teknologi, UiB, i sammarbeid med BTO. Selskapet vil tilby løsninger til olje & gass industrien som kontinuerlig søker nye måter å forbedre prosesser i olje- og gassutvinning. Prof Hammer har vært involvert i flere kommersialiseringer gjennom de siste tre tiårene. Selskapet har et nært forhold til Universitetet i Bergen, og vil i startfasen være lokalisert i Nyskapingsparken Inkubator
