ARRG AS (Augmented Reality Research Group) is a full-range supplier of AR-solutions. The ARRG team has a unique combination of skills and experience that allows the company to capture the whole Value Chain: from software development over IT infrastructure establishment to digital content creation. Their first product, ARad, was launched fall 2010. ARad is a cell phone application that allows the user to visualize digital contents during newspaper reading. ARad will close the gap between print media and the digital world. The possibilities are unlimited.
Once ARad is installed, the cell phone will recognize a printed marker through its camera and show the associated content on the cell phone screen. The contents can range from video and audio data to 3D-objects or animations. Moreover, the cell phone user will be able to interact with the contents, e.g. scaling, rotating, or moving objects with finger gestures and cell phone movements. Direct browsing of the advertiser website is also possible.

ARad suitable for print advertising, but range of applications is unlimited.
